Orion Software offers free modules in 2009!
In order to support our new customers in these times of economic uncertainty, Orion Software is offering free add-on modules for their award-winning Sirius Pro rental & Inventory Management Software with every new purchase at any trade show, including the ARA 2009 in Atlanta.
“In difficult times, it is even more important for rental houses to improve and maximize their business through the use of Rental Software.” Says Andre Gilbert, CEO of Orion Software. “It is important to reduce costs while increasing productivity and customer service, and this is our way of making a gesture towards the rental industry and to thank all our prospects who take the time to visit us at trade shows.”
Rental operators that purchase Sirius Pro at any trade show will receive their choice of modules and/or peripherals worth up to $2500, free of charge. This includes Preventive Maintenance, Contact Management, Advanced Staff Management, and hardware such as ID-Scans, Credit Card Systems, Barcode Scanners and Electronic Signature Pads.

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, the LDI show selected the 10 Best Innovations of the last 20 years. This selection was showcased at the LDI trade show in Orlando, Florida in November, 2007. Orion Software releases « Sirus Lite » to the market. Sirius Lite offers many of the same important features as it’s bigger brother, the industry renowned Sirius software, but the Lite flavor focuses on the main aspects of rental management, which are contract management & invoicing, accounts receivable and inventory control. This simpler program is easier than ever to install, learn and use, at a price point that is attractive to smaller rental operations.
Moreover, Orion Software has developed an outstanding auto-learn technology that will allow for a completely self-sufficient implementation, at a total cost of ownership that has never before been seen in the rental industry. The first Lite implementation was with Theatrical Associates, Manville, New Jersey.

Orion Software receives the “Rental E-Web Image Award”
Montreal-based Orion Software is pleased to announce that it has received the “Rental E-Web Image Award”, presented by the American Rental Association (ARA) for the best Web site of the suppliers of the industry. The primary qualities the jury highlighted are its ease of navigation, the presentation of complete and detailed information on its product offer, and a simple and efficient graphic interface.
In this category, Orion was competing against more than 1,100 associate members, including companies like Bosch, Kubota, John Deere and Honda, to name just a few.
Andre Gilbert, president of Orion Software, received the award at a luncheon during the trade show, “The Rental Show”, held in Atlanta, GA. “It really is a great honor for the whole team at Orion Software and it surely is a grand motivator in our quest in providing the best management software and related services to the rental industry”, said Mr. Gilbert to the members of the assembly.
